Mayra Peralta is an Istituto Marangoni-educated journalist, editor and author who travels back and forth between Paris, Quito, and Bogotá, taking in the best of fashion, music, and art. She juggles her job as an editor, brand consultant and stylist with her obsession with museums and finding the best eats in every city. May is passionate about uplifting emerging artists and businesses and covering stories at the convergence of fashion, culture and politics. Most importantly, she is committed to spotlighting Latinx and Asian voices and bringing culturally-nuanced conversations into the mainstream. Her work has appeared in several publications, including the BBC, Lonely Planet, The Independent en Español, Teen Vogue, Nylon, Fashionista, mitú and more.
